We are an embedded part of the organization, working side by side with our founders and staff to deeply understand evolving priorities, build trust, and strategically shape the future of Adaption's talent. THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our team. You will own and execute long-term talent strategies to identify, engage, and recruit many of the world’s leading and emerging AI researchers, research engineers, GTM strategy. You'll build the Adaption talent brand from the ground up, develop creative recruitment strategies, and partner directly with founders Sara Hooker and Sudip Roy. RESPONSIBILITIES * Own full-cycle recruiting — sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closing * Partner with hiring managers to build sharp hiring strategies and keep processes moving with clarity and speed * Proactively identify and cultivate exceptional AI/ML research talent across industry, academia, and emerging labs, often before formal hiring needs exist. * Deliver a thoughtful candidate experience from first outreach through offer * Build and iterate on Adaption's talent brand and overall attraction strategy QUALIFICATIONS * 3+ years in a recruiter role, ideally at an early-stage tech startup * You love the 0-1 and defining the recruiting org and cultural compass * You are strategic, care about innovating in how we reach top talent. * Proven track record recruiting across both technical and non-technical functions — experience with highly technical AI roles (model efficiency, distributed systems, post-training) is a strong foundation * Comfortable working with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, and Ashby * A creative, determined mindset — you don't quit when a search gets hard ABOUT US Most AI is frozen in place - it doesn't adapt to the world.
