Be the key contributor behind a forward-thinking BJAK brand for the UK market ABOUT BJAK We build superior application platforms globally with the mission of creating successful businesses while contributing positively to society by making it more efficient. We developed the first and leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia to digitize the insurance industry. The platform currently serves over 8 million users across the region. We are continuing our mission by building new, superior applications in emerging use cases as applications become increasingly integrated with AI. Our team is densely talented, highly motivated, and focused on engineering and product excellence within a very flat organization. All members are expected to be hands-on and to contribute directly to the company’s mission. WHAT YOU WILL DO 1. BRAND & VISUAL STRATEGY * Own BJAK’s UK brand identity and visual systems across all platforms * Build a UK-first visual narrative tailored to local users, culture, and market trends * Translate marketing and business objectives into impactful visual storytelling * Develop creative campaigns that build awareness, trust, and adoption in the UK * Ensure consistent brand expression across digital, social, product, and offline channels 2. CREATIVE LEADERSHIP * Lead and mentor a small, multidisciplinary UK creative team * Set high standards for design quality, speed, and execution * Review and approve visual assets to ensure alignment with the UK brand vision * Foster a collaborative, high-ownership, and execution-driven team culture 3. EXECUTION & OPTIMIZATION * Build and manage creative workflows balancing quality, speed, and scalability * Partner with UK growth, product, and leadership teams to align visuals with strategic goals * Use data, insights, and market trends to optimize campaigns and creative output * Stay up-to-date on UK consumer, design, and digital trends to keep the brand relevant YOU WILL THRIVE HERE IF YOU… * Care deeply about visual storytelling, brand building, and design excellence * Are hands-on, fast-moving, and obsessed with execution quality * Lead confidently while staying close to the work * Perform well under pressure and ambiguity * Take ownership of projects end-to-end and drive for measurable impact * Continuously push for higher standards and better outcomes * Manage multiple projects efficiently without losing structure or focus * Communicate clearly and provide actionable, constructive feedback * Want to build something meaningful in the UK market, fast and at scale WHAT YOU BRING * 4–6 years of experience in visual design, brand design, or creative leadership * Strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling, digital campaigns, and multi-channel projects * Deep understanding of branding, design systems, and digital content strategy * Proven experience leading creative teams and raising creative standards * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, and modern production workflows * Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills * Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or high-growth consumer brands * Experience building or localizing brands specifically for the UK market OUR TEAM & CULTURE * Lean, high-output team that moves fast and expects the same from everyone * Everyone contributes meaningfully, thinks like an owner, and raises the bar * Clarity, execution, and iteration drive everything we do * Results, speed, and ownership matter more than titles WHY JOIN US * Lead and own BJAK’s UK visual and creative vision end-to-end * Build a UK brand backed by the scale and strength of a proven fintech platform * Work directly with leadership and influence key strategic decisions * High-growth environment with clear ownership and fast career progression * Competitive compensation and flat organizational structure * Remote work flexibility across the UK LOCATION REQUIREMENT Based in the UK COMPENSATION RANGE £55,000 – £85,000 base salary per annum Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and relevant experience
