AMSM is looking to recruit a Shipping and Procurement Officer on a full-time basis within our Commercial Department.    JOB DESCRIPTION   * Calculating and placing orders with our suppliers * Daily interaction with our suppliers to monitor the status of our orders and any issues that may arise * Preparing and maintaining purchasing reports, records and updated price lists * Calculating order costs and evaluating proforma invoices for accuracy * Ensuring that the product inventory is always up to date * Working closely with the Sales, Warehouse & Accounts Departments   YOUR PROFILE   * Advanced Level of Education * Able to communicate well in English and Maltese. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – especially Microsoft Excel. * Candidates with experience in a similar role will be given preference. * A team player with strong interpersonal skills, organisation skills and able to work towards deadlines   AMSM offers some of the best staff conditions on the island amongst which are an on-site childcare centre, gym, staff carpark, health insurance and several policies and measures that safeguard the holistic well-being of our people.
