CHAP Group Limited are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead all personnel on site and manage day to day site operations. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to a high standard and within budget. Main tasks * Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards. * Take responsibility for day-to-day site decisions to maximise efficiency and profitability. * Liaise with the design team to manage drawings, specifications, and timely implementation of TQs. * Supervise all site personnel, allocating daily tasks and ensuring clear communication of work requirements. * Identify training and development needs within the team and support delivery of training where required. * Maintain high quality standards through ITP inspections, issuing defect notices, and overseeing rectification works. * Monitor contract and target programmes, producing 2–4 week look-ahead schedules to ensure resources meet project demands. * Review and propose programme or design improvements to enhance delivery and margin (subject to approval). * Review specifications and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency. * Prepare detailed and accurate material take-offs, supported by clear documentation and marked-up drawings. Qualifications & Criteria Essential * CITB SMSTS certification. * Valid CSCS Card. * Full UK driving licence. * First Aid certification. * Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary construction projects. * Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence teams. * Excellent time management and organisational skills. * IT literate, including Microsoft Office. Desirable * Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. * NVQ/SVQ Level 4 in Construction Management (or working towards). * Trade background or construction apprenticeship. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in site supervision or project management. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage on-site challenges. * Up-to-date knowledge of industry best practice. This role is expected to commence in July/August 2026.
