A Typical Day:  * Write code, owning end to end features as part of large, crucial products on our roadmap * Work collaboratively with your core team on solution design, implementation details, and operational excellence * Execute on new ideas that will enable us to build products that can more effectively adapt to fluid or ambiguous business needs Your Expertise: * Bachelor’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent practical experience * 2-4+ years industry experience * Prior real-word experience and demonstrable knowledge in any of Java, Kotlin, Scala, Python, Go, Rust, C/C++/C# * Able to communicate well with a wide variety of cross functional partners such as Legal, Customer Support, Experience Design, etc. * Skilled at managing initiatives with ambiguous or rapidly shifting requirements * Able to contribute to the enrichment of the general engineering culture of the wider organization * Experience with Tax, Compliance, Finance, or similar domains highly desirable, especially DAC7, OECD Model Rules, KYC, VAT, etc. Our Commitment To Inclusion & Belonging: Airbnb is committed to working with the broadest talent pool possible. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.   Pay Range $162,000—$186,000 USD
