ABOUT THE ROLE Kaaiser, a leading global student recruitment and admissions firm within the Manifest Global Group, is looking for a detail-oriented and articulate SOP Writer to join our Australia visa team. In this role, you will be the voice behind student stories — crafting compelling, authentic, and strategically sound Statements of Purpose (SOPs) that support student visa applications for Australian universities and institutions. You will work closely with counsellors, document verification specialists, and compliance teams to ensure every SOP accurately reflects the student's profile, intent, and eligibility, while aligning with Australian immigration requirements and the Genuine Student (GS) criteria. This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. If you have a strong command of English, an eye for detail, and a passion for helping students achieve their study abroad goals, we want to hear from you. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING SOP Drafting & Customization * Write personalised, high-quality Statements of Purpose for students applying to Australian universities across various courses and visa subclasses (primarily Student Visa Subclass 500). * Tailor each SOP to reflect the individual student's academic background, work experience, career goals, and reasons for choosing Australia as a study destination. * Ensure SOPs align with the Genuine Student (GS) framework, addressing key assessment factors such as ties to the home country, financial capacity, and study intent. * Draft supplementary documents, including cover letters and personal statements, as required. Collaboration & Coordination * Work closely with counsellors and case managers to gather accurate student information before drafting. * Coordinate with the Document Verification and Compliance teams to ensure SOPs are consistent with supporting documents. * Incorporate feedback from visa officers, counsellors, and team leads to continuously improve SOP quality. * Manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet turnaround timelines without compromising on quality. Quality & Compliance * Review all SOPs for grammar, clarity, tone, structure, and alignment with Australian Department of Home Affairs guidelines. * Identify red flags or inconsistencies in student profiles and flag them to the compliance team before submission. * Ensure all content is original, non-plagiarised, and fully personalised — no generic templates. Documentation & Tracking * Maintain organised records of all SOPs drafted, versions, and revision history in internal CRM or tracking tools. * Contribute to building and maintaining internal SOP writing guidelines and best-practice documentation. Process Improvement * Identify opportunities to standardise and improve the SOP writing workflow. * Stay updated on Australian immigration policy changes and university-specific requirements that may impact visa documentation. ABOUT YOU Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Education, or a related field. Experience * 2–3 years of experience in SOP writing, academic writing, content writing, or immigration documentation. * Prior exposure to the Australian student visa process (Subclass 500) or study abroad admissions is strongly preferred. * Experience working in an EdTech, student recruitment, or immigration consultancy environment is an advantage. Skills & Qualities * Exceptional written English with a strong command of grammar, style, and narrative structure. * Ability to translate complex student profiles into clear, compelling, and authentic stories. * High attention to detail — able to catch inconsistencies, factual errors, and structural gaps. * Comfortable managing multiple cases under tight deadlines. * Familiarity with Australian immigration requirements and the Genuine Student criteria. * Proficiency with Google Docs, MS Word, and basic CRM or tracking tools. Good to Have * Knowledge of Australian university systems, course structures, and admission requirements. * Experience working with students from diverse source markets such as India, Nepal, or the Philippines. * Understanding of IELTS/PTE requirements and how they factor into visa eligibility. * Familiarity with document verification and compliance workflows. This role is 5.5 days a week working from office in Delhi
