We are currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team on a per diem basis supporting adult and geriatric clients throughout Hudson County, NJ. WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS OPPORTUNITY * Flexible per diem scheduling * Manageable geographic territories * One-on-one patient care in the home setting * Supportive multidisciplinary team environment * Tablet-based documentation and streamlined technology * Career growth, training, and scholarship opportunities * Recognition for the impact you make every day WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, you will: * Provide in-home speech therapy evaluations and treatments for adult and geriatric clients * Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders * Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams * Modify care plans as patient needs evolve * Educate patients and caregivers to promote safety, independence, and improved quality of life * Collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members * Complete timely electronic documentation using a tablet-based EMR system QUALIFICATIONS * Current NJ Speech Language Pathologist license required * Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred * Home health experience preferred but not required * Strong communication and organizational skills * Comfortable with electronic documentation/EMR systems BENEFITS & PERKS At BAYADA, our employees are our greatest asset.
