JOB OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Station Operations Manager (Cold Chain) to oversee end-to-end temperature-controlled logistics operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient, timely, and compliant delivery of cold chain products while maintaining high service levels and operational excellence. You will lead a team on the ground, optimise processes, and drive continuous improvements across the supply chain. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. OPERATIONS & CAPACITY PLANNING Ensure sufficient capacity for parcel collection and delivery Drive high SLA performance and timeslot adherence Minimise product damages and defrosting incidents 2. COST & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT Manage operating costs in line with budget targets (~$350K/month) Monitor financial and operational performance metrics Implement cost optimisation initiatives 3. SOP GOVERNANCE & COMPLIANCE Ensure adherence to operational SOPs across processes, equipment, and facilities Maintain compliance with cold chain handling standards Drive consistency in execution across the station 4. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & OPTIMISATION Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma) Optimise workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity Drive operational innovation and scalability   ----------------------------------------   LEADERSHIP & TEAM MANAGEMENT Lead and develop a team of ~20 staff (supervisors, drivers, sorters) Set performance goals and drive accountability across the team Act as the primary communication channel for policies and updates Work hands-on with the team on the ground to resolve issues and remove barriers REQUIREMENTS EXPERIENCE & SKILLS 3–5 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or cold chain operations Proven experience managing teams of 10+ employees Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making Experience in Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies (preferred) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an advantage
