Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Acquisition Lead to help scale a fast-growing biotechnology company during a pivotal stage of growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at identifying and engaging exceptional talent, and enjoys partnering closely with technical and scientific leaders to build high-performing teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on recruiter with strong sourcing capabilities, excellent recruiting judgment, and experience supporting high-volume hiring in biotech, life sciences, or other highly technical environments. Key Responsibilities * Support full-cycle recruiting across technical and business functions * Proactively source and engage top-tier talent in highly competitive markets * Partner directly with hiring managers and technical team leads to understand hiring needs and drive searches from kickoff through close * Conduct recruiter screens and manage interview coordination throughout the hiring * Build strong pipelines of talent through networking, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies * Drive candidate engagement and maintain a high-quality candidate experience * Serve as a trusted recruiting partner throughout the hiring process Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree plus additional relevant experience considered * 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including significant experience recruiting within biotech, life sciences, or other technical industries * Strong experience sourcing technical, scientific, or specialized talent * Demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive candidates * Experience recruiting in startup or high-growth environments preferred * Strong organizational and communication skills * Comfortable working onsite full-time in San Diego What Success Looks Like Success in this role means consistently identifying and closing exceptional talent for highly specialized roles in a competitive hiring market.
