THE ROLE 9fin is growing fast, and so is our ambition. Following our recent $170m Series C, we’re entering an exciting new phase of global expansion. Talent is at the heart of that journey, and we’re looking for a GTM Talent Partner based in New York to help us build the commercial teams that will drive our next stage of growth. This is a high-impact role within our Talent team, focused on hiring for our Go-To-Market functions - including Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and Marketing - across New York and occasionally London while also supporting content and other business-critical hiring when needed. You’ll own hiring end-to-end, but this role goes beyond delivery. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and senior commercial leaders as a trusted advisor - shaping hiring strategies, challenging assumptions, and ensuring we’re bringing in exceptional people who raise the bar across the business. A core part of this role is identifying and securing top-tier sales talent in highly competitive markets. We have a high bar, and we’re looking for someone who knows how to find, assess, and close the kind of candidates who consistently outperform. WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON Every day is different, but your focus will be on delivering great hiring outcomes and continuously improving how we hire as a business. * Lead end-to-end hiring across GTM functions (Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Marketing), from role scoping through to offer * Play a key role in hiring exceptional sales talent, from building pipeline through to closing top candidates * Support additional hiring needs across the business, including content and other high priority roles, as required * Partner closely with hiring managers to translate commercial goals into clear, effective hiring plans * Partner with the People team on compensation, contributing to salary benchmarking and market insights for base salary and OTE to ensure we remain competitive * Build and nurture high-quality talent pipelines, balancing immediate hiring needs with longer-term growth plans * Proactively identify and engage exceptional candidates, particularly in competitive GTM markets * Run structured, high-quality assessment processes and provide clear, insight-driven recommendations * Help improve how we hire by contributing to better processes, tools, and ways of working * Use data from Ashby to track performance, spot trends, and identify opportunities to improve * Leverage modern tools and AI-enabled workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness * Champion an inclusive, thoughtful candidate experience at every stage ABOUT YOU We’re looking for someone who combines strong delivery with curiosity, judgment, and a genuine interest in how great hiring works.
