As a Tax Supervisor in Flowthrough , you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and building strategies to help develop and maintain relationships with clients throughout the tax process. Because People Matter.    Note: If you resides close to a BPM office we require a hybrid work schedule (2-3 days in the office)  WE HAVE: * Consistent recognition as one of the Bay Area’s “Best Places to Work” * Recognition as “Top 5 Accounting Firm in the Bay Area” * Summer Hours – Leave early on Friday afternoons from June Through August * BPMU – A corporate university that’s dedicated to your career growth and development * Flexibility in your day-to-day work schedule * Rich diversity in the clients, industries, and overall work QUALIFICATIONS * Education & Certification * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * CPA license (or in progress) or EA certification required.   * Experience * Minimum of 3–5 years in public accounting with a focus on flow-through taxation. * Preferred experience in industries such as real estate, venture capital, private equity, crypto, or consumer goods. * Prior experience from Big 4 or large regional firms is a plus.   * Skills * Strong technical knowledge of partnership and S corporation taxation. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple complex projects and delegate effectively. * Proficiency in tax research and planning strategies. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Tax Compliance & Consulting * Provide tax compliance and consulting services for flow-through entities (partnerships, LLCs, S corporations) across multiple industries. * Work with clients to minimize federal, state, and local tax liabilities. * Oversee complex tax research projects and deliver innovative tax planning strategies.   * Client Relationship Management * Serve as the primary client contact for all tax matters. * Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.   * Engagement Management * Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables. * Review work prepared by tax seniors and associates, providing feedback and guidance.   * Leadership & Mentorship * Train, mentor, and motivate junior team members. * Foster a collaborative team environment and support professional development initiatives. * Champion sustainable workplace practices by supporting remote-first operations, promoting paperless workflows through digital collaboration tools, participating in recycling initiatives to minimize paper use, and consistently demonstrate alignment with BPM’s values.
