We are seeking Mechanical Engineer Interns for Summer 2027! This is a paid, in-person, 12 week internship. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Design & build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production. * Present design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, design & execute hardware test plans. * Use first principles physics as a basis for every decision. * Travel to test sites and vendors as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field. * Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship and returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter/semester. * Collegiate project team or laboratory experience. * Currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate engineering program. * CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet common industry standards. * Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills. * High competence with, and fluid use of, engineering first principles. * U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Prior internship experience and/or leadership on a collegiate project team or laboratory. * Experience in NX/Teamcenter and/or Solidworks. * Experience with FEA and/or CFD analysis tools. * Ability to integrate electrical components into designs (motors, controllers, sensors etc.). * Experience with machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and 3D printing.   US Salary Range $30—$45 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
