Amuse Animation is an international animation studio founded in 2015 and headquartered in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with a growing presence in France and China. We develop and produce original IPs and provide high-quality 2D and 3D animation services, reaching a global audience across major digital platforms. We combine creativity, technology and an audience-driven approach to create content that connects with millions of viewers worldwide. We are looking for several Vector Artists to join our team in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. YOUR ROLE As a Mid Vector Artist, you will be responsible for creating and preparing high-quality vector assets for animation, working with a good level of autonomy and closely collaborating with the Art, Rigging, Animation and Production teams. You will: * Create high-quality vector assets for characters, props and other visual elements based on approved designs. * Independently prepare, refine and organize assets according to project specifications. * Ensure artwork maintains the project's visual style, proportions and consistency. * Prepare assets with animation and rigging requirements in mind. * Work closely with Leads and Supervisors to incorporate artistic and technical feedback. * Identify and resolve issues related to asset construction, proportions, layers and file preparation. * Collaborate with Rigging and Animation to ensure assets integrate smoothly into the production pipeline. * Contribute to improving asset preparation workflows and production standards. * Manage tasks efficiently and deliver work according to production priorities and deadlines. ARTISTIC & TECHNICAL * Strong understanding of vector illustration, shape language, proportions and clean line work. * Good knowledge of character construction and asset preparation for 2D animation. * Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and relevant vector-based workflows. * Good understanding of 2D rigging requirements, including layer structure and deformation considerations. * Ability to prepare and organize production-ready vector assets. * Strong eye for visual consistency, colour and design within an established artistic style. * Good understanding of 2D animation production pipelines and requirements. * Ability to identify and troubleshoot common technical issues related to vector assets. * Knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony is a plus. * Familiarity with ShotGrid is a plus. COLLABORATION * Work closely with Concept Design, Art, Rigging, Animation and Production teams. * Maintain clear communication with Leads and Supervisors regarding progress, feedback and potential issues. * Ensure assets meet the technical requirements of downstream departments. * Participate in reviews and contribute to improving workflows and production processes. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 3–5 years of professional experience in vector art, 2D animation or a related field. * Strong portfolio demonstrating professional-quality vector artwork. * Experience working within an animation production pipeline. * Good understanding of asset preparation for 2D rigging and animation. * Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. * Strong attention to detail and visual consistency. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
