About the Position We're looking for a passionate business developer with an entrepreneurial spirit who is excited to be a foundational member of our partnerships team! As an integral member of the team, you'll play a key role in helping define our partnership motion, shape our future product, and have a direct impact on the success of Parafin. You'll report directly to Parafin’s Head of Platforms, working closely with Product and Leadership to grow the partnership function. Your role will also be responsible for helping shape Parafin’s partnership strategy and culture. Are you looking to join a hyper-growth company and excited about embedded fintech? What You’ll Be Doing: * Drive awareness for Parafin and embedded fintech by identifying and prospecting platforms * Proactively identify target accounts, initiate outbound messaging, and present Parafin’s offering to external commercial and product teams. * Manage the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting to closing deals, using a consultative sales approach. * Negotiate and structure platform agreements, collaborating with GTM leadership legal to close. * Partner with internal and external cross-functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives. * Play a leading role in creating the GTM sales motion and creating the gold standard for helping prospects throughout their sales journey. * Develop a strong understanding of the Parafin products and value proposition What We’re Searching For: * 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales preferable at a Fintech company, with a track record of top performance. * Experience selling and building relationships with complex platforms and marketplaces while growing and managing a sales pipeline. * A strong understanding of various business models and strategies in SaaS Platforms and Marketplaces. * Ability to conduct consultative sales process and is comfortable with analyzing and presenting data * Technically savvy, you know how to work with product and engineering teams to ensure a partner's technical needs are met. * A strong desire and ability to operate in a highly ambiguous environment * An A+ Team Player who values helping your peers succeed and the overall success of Parafin * Driven to help grow small businesses We Prefer If You Have: * Experience working in fintech * Prior startup experience * Creative out of the box thinking * Someone who doesn’t mind getting scrappy, prospecting their own leads, and building their own pipeline What We Offer * Salary Range: $250-370K (OTE) Total compensation is uncapped and may exceed this range * Equity grant * Medical, dental & vision insurance * Work from home flexibility * Unlimited PTO * Commuter benefits * Free lunches * Paid parental leave * 401(k) * Employee assistance program If you require reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employee selection process, please contact us.
