SUMMARY Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment is looking for a Account Manager, Partnership Marketing that will manage and grow a portfolio of partner accounts. The ideal candidate cares about the details and perfecting their craft, raises their hand to help teammates, and is a sponge when it comes to learning more about activation best practices and their partners’ business and brand marketing efforts. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Partnership Marketing. WHAT YOU WILL DO * Responsible for the management, maintenance, renewal, and growth of high profile accounts which includes the implementation of partnership assets, the creation and activation of promotions, oversight of hospitality packages, community programs, media, and signage. * Develop and execute marketing strategies for various accounts and initiatives. * Establish relationships with both sponsors and media partners. * Collaborate closely with the Partnership Development and Brand & Partner Solutions teams to ensure that inventory is accurately incorporated into renewal/upsell packages. * Develop, improve and renew partner relationships by exceeding expectations of all contractual deliverables, and identifying and executing against opportunities to drive incremental value. * Present ideas and opportunities to help grow the business of each partner by keeping current with goals, objectives and the competitive corporate landscape in the market, regionally, nationally, globally. * Partner with other departments on sponsored programs which include, but are not limited to game presentation, community relations, ticketing, etc. * Attend Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center events to host sponsors and lead the execution of in-arena promotions as well as support departmental events/functions. WHAT YOU WILL BRING * Bachelor’s degree required. * 2-4 years of partnership account management required. * Sports industry experience preferred. Agency experience a plus. * Proven record of hitting goals/budgets. * Must have advanced skills with utilizing Microsoft suite; proficiency with CRM (Salesforce) highly preferred. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
