We pride ourselves on promoting talent when we see it, and work with each professional to define what success means for them.”     Your primary responsibilities will include: * Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports * Maintain general ledgers and reconcile accounts * Post journal entries and update client accounting software * Handle bookkeeping, bank deposits, A/P, and client payments * Prepare T4s, GST, and other compliance returns * Maintain financial records and bookkeeping files * Generate accounting reports * Perform clerical tasks as needed * Collaborate with peers and management on file planning and deadlines * Provide attentive, personalized client service What you bring to the table: The successful candidate will have: * at least 2 years’ experience in full cycle bookkeeping procedures * payroll designation & experience considered an asset. * 2 years’ experience in Bookkeeping * 2 years’ experience in QuickBooks Online is required. * Tech Stack experience including integration of apps is considered an asset. * Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks online are required. * experience in preparation of Notice to Reader statements would be an asset. * experience in the management of multiple government contracts and knowledge of Provincial and Federal financial reporting requirements would be an asset. * an understanding of the Provincial and Federal bidding systems. * excellent computer skills and willingness to upgrade such skills, as required. In addition to these, the ideal candidate will have: * Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities * Strong time management and workflow planning * Effective oral and written communication * Proficient in Windows XP, Excel, Word; strong analytical and math skills * Knowledge of CRA regulations, labor standards, WCB, and GST * Excellent interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills * Familiarity with FOIP and handling confidential information * Proven problem-solving abilities Technical Skills: Experience with CaseWare, iFirm, Practice Engine and Karbon are considered an asset.
