Job Title: Adjunct Education Faculty (Local Applicants Only) Classification: Faculty (Institutional Support) Reports To: Dean, School of Arts and Sciences Location: Kuwait City, Kuwait Job Purpose American International University (AIU) invites applications for qualified Education, Pedagogy, or Curriculum and Instruction Faculty to join its adjunct teaching pool and be considered for part-time teaching opportunities. Adjunct pool members may be contacted to teach introductory, general education, or selected major courses depending on departmental needs and individual qualifications. Adjunct Faculty contribute to AIU’s mission by teaching undergraduate courses and mentoring students in a collaborative and innovative learning environment. Position Overview: Adjunct faculty members will be responsible for teaching courses in their respective disciplines, assisting with course development, and contributing to the academic growth of AIU’s students. Qualifications • Master’s or PhD in Education, Pedagogy, Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field required. • Proficient communication skills in English. • University teaching experience in the subject matter. • Industry experience in teaching field. • Commitment to excellence in teaching. Responsibilities • Teach up to 2 courses (6 credit hours). • Provide mentorship and academic advising to students. • Collaborate with faculty in curriculum development. • Actively contribute to the intellectual and cultural growth of AIU’s academic community.
