The AI/ML Engineer will establish and evolve the technical architecture supporting AI-enabled capabilities, including agents, models, retrieval systems, data services, orchestration, evaluation, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop workflows. The AI/ML Engineer t will maximize reuse of the sponsor’s enterprise capabilities while identifying architectural gaps requiring new or enhanced capabilities. This role will establish reusable patterns for AI capability development and ensure that solutions are scalable, modular, observable, secure, and based on open/COTS/FOSS technologies. Technical Skills: * AI/ML architecture and applied AI systems * LLM and generative AI architectures * Agentic AI and multi-agent systems * RAG and knowledge retrieval architectures * Model serving and inference architectures * AI evaluation and benchmarking * AI guardrails and human-in-the-loop architectures * AI/ML lifecycle management * Python * REST APIs and microservices * Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes * Cloud and hybrid/on-premises architectures * Event-driven architectures * MLOps/LLMOps * Model and application observability * Secure software architecture * Experience integrating enterprise platforms and APIs Salary Range: $163,000 - $368,000 We are an equal opportunity employer.
