About the Role:  We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Aquatic Supervisor to join our team at Otumoetai Pool. In this leadership role, you'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility while supporting a team of Lifeguards and Shift Leaders to deliver exceptional customer experiences in a safe and welcoming environment. The role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of facility presentation, water quality, operational compliance, and team performance.    Key responsibilities include:  * Providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to Lifeguards and Shift Leaders.  * Assisting with staff rostering and workforce coordination to meet operational requirements.  * Coordinating staff inductions, training sessions, and ongoing development to maintain operational excellence.  * Ensuring compliance with PoolSafe standards, water quality requirements, and Health & Safety legislation.  * Supporting administrative functions such as stock control, banking, invoicing, and asset management.  * Contributing to a positive team culture and delivering outstanding experiences for our community.  You will also participate in an on-call roster and have opportunities to work across Bay Venues' aquatic network, broadening your experience and professional development.  About You:  We're looking for a people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about aquatic safety, customer service, and team development. You'll have strong communication and organisational skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining high operational and safety standards.  You'll bring:  * Minimum 3 years' experience in pool Lifeguarding  * Previous leadership or supervisory experience.  * Strong communication, organisational, and administrative skills.  * A proactive approach to Health & Safety and compliance.  * A current Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate, or willingness to obtain one with our support.  * A current Comprehensive First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one with our support.  * A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and living Bay Venues' values every day.   Knowledge or experience in aquatic facilities, recreation, or customer-focused environments would be advantageous but is not essential.  We have a lot of perks to support our culture of connection and fun.  Ones that reinforce that we are part of the awesome leisure and events industry, and all the magic that comes along with that. Our benefits include:  * a gym membership to our Clubfit Gyms,   * access to our five aquatic facilities including Baywave and Mount Hot Pools,   * subsidised speedway passes and generous discounts on our programmes, services and merchandise,  * heavily subsidised coffee at our on-site cafes,  * access to a range of development opportunities through our Learning & Development programme   So why not join us?
