Today's most tomorrow company. We built the world's most powerful battery, the 850MW Waratah Super Battery, and now we need the engineers who'll help keep it performing for the next twenty years. We're leading the energy transition towards a better, brighter tomorrow. The work you will do makes a real and very tangible impact on the future of the planet and its people. We're 200 people around the world with 40 GWh of projects moving through development across Australia, Japan, the US and Germany. Akaysha build, own, and operate our assets. We don't hand a project to someone else once it's approved. The people who design a battery site are the same people who help build it, optimise it and solve the challenges that come with operating it every day. You'll join our Operations team at a time when our portfolio is growing rapidly. From supporting operational readiness on new projects to helping troubleshoot live assets and improve long-term reliability, you'll be part of the team responsible for turning world-class battery projects into world-class operating assets. What you'll do * Help develop and embed our ISO 55000-aligned Asset Management System across a growing fleet of battery assets * Support technical troubleshooting and root cause investigations when operational issues arise * Bridge the gap between construction and operations by supporting design reviews, handovers, commissioning and operational readiness activities * Work with internal teams, OEMs and service providers to improve asset reliability, performance and maintenance outcomes How you'll make a positive impact * Strong technical understanding of BESS and power system equipment, including transformers, switchgear, protection systems and inverters * Ability to investigate technical issues methodically and translate findings into practical solutions * Confidence reviewing technical documentation, drawings and engineering deliverables to identify risks before they become problems * Sound engineering judgement that balances safety, reliability, commercial outcomes and operational practicality This role is offered as an initial contract, aligned to a defined period of growth and planning, with meaningful impact from day one. Why you’ll love working here  * Flexibility first: we're hybrid by design, averaging 60/40 office and home split, and real trust to flex that mix when life calls for it.  * Room to look after yourself: $1,500 a year for your wellbeing, plus $2,000 and two extra days off for your own development.  * Genuinely generous parental leave: because family isn’t something you fit around a job  * A stake in what we build: on top of your salary and twice-yearly bonus, permanent team members also share in the value we create through our Long Term Incentive Plan.  Lead the energy transition with us. Apply now.  We believe diverse teams build better solutions for the planet and its people. We’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, supported, and able to do their best work, no matter their background, identity, or lived experience.
