We provide a full-service construction offering for complex multi-phased projects, renovations and expansions and new from the ground-up construction.   BUILD A BRIGHT CAREER AT BATTEN & SHAW  To learn more about Batten & Shaw click here: https://vimeo.com/185228888/a10ea8a16d  Healthcare Construction Assistant Superintendent  We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our team.  5+ years’ experience in commercial construction, preferably in an Assistant Superintendent role. * Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred * Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction and renovation of building structures * Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models * Understanding of ICRA requirements * Functional understanding of scheduling software and practices * Specific understanding of working electrical and mechanical systems * Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of individuals including subcontractors, laborers, owner, peers, and supervisors * Detail-oriented with the capacity to learn quickly * Demonstrated ability to read and interpret plans and drawings * Ability to oversee safe work practices to ensure adherence to OSHA guidelines * Demonstrated ability to manage project activities within time constraints of detailed schedule * Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously Batten and Shaw is an equal opportunity employer.
