We started with fire departments, where purchasing mission-critical vehicles and equipment used to take months of paperwork, phone calls, and delays. About the role Garage’s Go-to-Market team is on a mission to build a broader more powerful marketplace by expanding categories and accelerating seller and buyer growth. The Associate Account Executive role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to develop into a top-performing Account Executive. You’ll work directly with customers, own deals from first conversation through close, and partner closely with experienced sales leaders, Founders, product, and operations teams. * Take end-to-end ownership of the inside sales cycle from discovery to close * Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and deliver impact * Generate new opportunities, follow up on leads, and consistently move deals forward * Surface insights from customer conversations and work cross-functionally with Product, Ops, and company Founders to help shape our product and strategy roadmap. What we’re looking for * You’re competitive and love to win * You move fast, have an ownership mentality, and an entrepreneurial mindset * You are a relationship builder who deeply enjoys getting to know customers and being the conduit between the business and users * You’re resilient and tenacious who's always pushing to uncover and win new business opportunities * You have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions in an effective manner * You enjoy storytelling and compelling narratives that clearly communicate our value * You are excited to champion a product that creates real-world impact for both users and the communities they serve Required * You have 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing role with an ability to work quickly and iteratively, and are looking to build a foundation in sales and client management. We especially value candidates coming from consulting, banking, business development or closing roles at early stage startups. Our values * Growth oriented.
