Associate or Senior Associate, Civil and Structural Group Calgary, AB 30 Forensic Engineering is one of Canada’s largest and most respected multi-disciplinary forensic firms. Purpose  The Senior Associate will report directly to the Practice Lead, collaborating with other subject matter experts to consult with clients, perform examinations and testing, and prepare technical reports in a clear, concise, and professional manner. Responsibilities * Perform site examinations and document reviews; communicate findings clearly to colleagues and clients. * Report to the Civil/Structural Team and work closely with the Practice Lead on performance, professional development, and team goals. * Prepare structural calculations, simulations, and technical drawings from field measurements, sketches, and other data. * Prepare technical reports and drawings based on sound investigation and analysis. * Manage client service deadlines, budgets, invoicing, and accounts receivable efficiently. * Liaise directly with clients, providing regular updates throughout investigations. * Demonstrate commitment to the firm’s mission, vision, and values. * Participate in business development and marketing activities; attend industry seminars and events. * Manage projects in line with billing and reporting requirements, including client-based MSAs. * Work collaboratively across teams and disciplines. * Develop toward providing expert testimony in court. Requirements * 5+ years of relevant experience. * Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). * Excellent technical writing skills. * Strong presentation skills (asset). * Valid Canadian driver’s license. * Willing and able to travel throughout Canada.
