As a Technical Account Manager, you’ll successfully manage relationships, projects, resources, and cloud technology strategy within a subset of Innovative’ s major AWS account base. The ideal candidate has the perfect blend of business and technical acumen, is excited about how cloud technology can help our customers, and truly enjoys being versatile and managing multiple customer engagements at once. In this role, you'll work with a number of internal stakeholders including salespeople, engineers, and project managers to provide customers with unrivaled knowledge, value, and insight around cloud technology solutions. ---------------------------------------- What you’ll do:  * Managing customer relationships associated to Managed Service Agreements and AWS Cloud projects * Assigning, overseeing, and providing direction to technical team members to ensure they are actively working towards established milestones * Organizing, executing, and delivering cloud-based projects to include Managed Cloud Services, Cloud Migrations, Application Modernization and Development, and Well Architected Reviews (WARs).   * Collaborating with internal stakeholders at Innovative to define scope and customer goals, as well as managing potential risks and ensuring quality of services delivered * Holding regular internal review meetings for each assigned account to determine progress and address any challenges * Effectively managing multiple projects at once, including project schedules, budgets, and deliverables * Act as point of escalation for junior members of the team for both client and system roadblocks * Participating in the estimating and solution engineering process for all new engagements within your account base * Scheduling additional technical consultations for customers as needed to optimize the performance of their cloud environment(s) * Presenting, reviewing, and gathering feedback on final deliverables with customers * Engaging with the sales team in identifying opportunities for improvement within accounts and pursuing cross-sell and up-sell opportunities * Exceeding customer expectations by proactively communicating with all stakeholders involved in ensuring a high return on investment for each engagement ---------------------------------------- Required Skills:  * Bachelor’s Degree, with 5+ years of relevant experience managing projects in the tech industry. * Ability to build a strong foundation of knowledge around AWS Cloud Services and the cloud ecosystem * Well-established knowledge of project management methodology * Demonstrated success in prior project management and/or account management roles with ability to deliver high quality services and unmatched customer experiences. * Proven ability to build, engage, and manage relationships with both internal and external customers * Ability to achieve AWS Cloud Practitioner upon hire (must have), with desire to achieve an AWS Solutions Architect Associate (nice to have) ---------------------------------------- Preferred:  * Hands-on experience managing AWS customer environments – this is highly preferred * AWS certification(s) such as Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, or SysOps Administrator * Experience in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment or customer-facing technical account management role * Familiarity with ITIL frameworks or service management methodologies * Experience with cloud migration projects or hybrid cloud environments * Previous experience in professional services or consulting ---------------------------------------- Travel Requirements: * 2x quarterly travel to our Rochester, NY headquarters
