THE ROLE To support the rapid expansion of the Ideals VDR line of business in the US, we are looking for an Account Executive (Business Development Associate) based in the Houston area. Joining our Key Accounts Sales team alongside your NYC, Chicago, Boston, Charlotte, Atlanta & Miami teammates, you will proactively prospect outbound opportunities, acquiring new customers with the ultimate goal of closing deals. As a front-line, quota-carrying team member, you will actively reach out to 30-40 new customers monthly, overseeing a pipeline with 50+ opportunities. Engaging proactively with C-suite and key account decision-makers across Finance, Banking, and other sectors, you will contribute directly to our growth story in the US market. Compensation package: 55% base salary; 45% performance-based variable. WHAT YOU WILL DO * Build relationships with key stakeholders and industry influencers throughout the Houston region * Deliver sales targets by focusing on new customer acquisition * Proactively build and manage a pipeline, working with strategic US accounts and constantly developing new opportunities * Actively contribute to the execution of the sales and marketing strategy for the US region * Take part in arranging M&A Community events, enhancing Ideals' visibility * Deliver compelling product presentations to clients * Structure, negotiate, and close deals * Consistently share insights and provide updates to customers * Provide relevant customer feedback to the product development and management teams * Collaborate with Customer Success and Inbound Sales to grow customer satisfaction and the company’s revenue WHAT YOU BRING * 1.5– 2 years of demonstrable success in direct sales or business development within B2B or professional services sector * Experience in high-velocity sales environments and effectively engaging with decision-makers * A track record of successfully managing pipelines and closing high-value deals * Exceptional business communication skills to structure persuasive pitches and navigate client discovery * Native-level proficiency in English * University degree with a strong overall GPA NICE TO HAVE * SaaS, financial, fintech, or information security industries background * Fluency in an additional language OUR ASSESSMENT PROCESS * Screening call with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (30 mins) * Hiring Manager interview (60 mins) * Presentation interview with the Hiring Manager (60 mins) * Competency-based interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (60 mins) WHAT WE OFFER We highly value our people, so we will empower you with all the resources and support to help you reach your full potential.
