Let's build together. Your impact This is your chance to build Mollie's presence in Denmark from the ground up, as the first person hired with this market as your sole focus. You won't be starting from zero: you'll have the Nordic foundation already built in Sweden to work from, but the Danish playbook is yours to write. You'll open the market, land our first Danish customers, and turn early learnings into a repeatable approach we can scale. It's a broader, more entrepreneurial scope than a standard sales role. You'll work deals from $100K a month while building toward bigger opportunities of up to $1 million a month, all while shaping how Mollie understands and enters this market for the long run. What makes this role stand out is the mix: outbound selling, customer discovery, partnerships, and competitive analysis, all rolled into one seat with real ownership. What you'll ship * Run outbound sales and manage the full sales process, including around 20 cold calls a week * Build a Danish pipeline and land Mollie's first customers in the market * Gather market feedback and grow larger opportunities, including deals of up to $1 million a month * Build relationships with Danish agencies and work on partnerships alongside the partner manager based in Stockholm * Share what you learn about the Danish marketing landscape with the marketing team to help shape events and go-to-market plans * Run competitive analysis to sharpen how Mollie positions itself in Denmark What you'll bring * Around 5 years of full-cycle sales experience, with a strong outbound track record and demonstrated success in structured cold outreach * Value selling capability, with a data-driven approach to activity and pipeline management * Strong negotiation and contract handling skills, including experience communicating and negotiating with C-level stakeholders * Creativity in building a pipeline through partnerships or marketing outreach (you don't need to have done this before, just show the potential) * Experience in payments, fintech, or SaaS sales, built across multiple companies * Comfortable working hands-on in a role with broad scope and real uncertainty * Fluency in Danish Grow your way At Mollie, growth is personal.
