JOB SPECIFICATIONS: * High School graduate or GED certificate required. * A graduate from an Accredited Respiratory Care program * Professional Credentials; Licensure by the State of Alabama * Must hold the LRT, CRT, or RRT credentials * Must be able to read, write and speak the English language and communicate effectively * Must possess the ability to work with personnel, visitors, patients, and the general public * Participate in recordkeeping duties within the department, accounting records, patient charting * Perform daily maintenance, quality control for the ABG analyzer * Prepare shift duty sheets for daily treatments, oxygen, aerosol patients, and scheduled diagnostics
