Job Description The Client Partner is a strategic business consultant and relationship leader responsible for driving the growth, transformation, and profitability of our most valuable client accounts. Instead of managing day-to-day operations, this role requires a visionary leader with a background in Strategy & Planning who can deeply immerse themselves in the client’s business model, industry landscape, competition, and target audiences. By translating strategic insights into high-impact business solutions, the Client Partner acts as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, steering cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class content, media, and technology solutions. On the commercial front, you will work hand-in-hand with the Managing Director and the Project Director to establish the core strategic and operational premises that govern our commercial proposals, ensuring our pitches and renewals are both disruptive and highly profitable. Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership & Business Immersion * Deep-Dive Business Consultation: Immerse yourself in the client’s business, leveraging your expertise in market environments, competitor analysis, and audience insights to identify untapped growth opportunities. * Strategic Oversight: Provide high-level guidance in articulating client business objectives, ensuring all agency solutions and cross-capability responses align with the client’s overarching business strategy. * Periscopic Vision (QBRs & Innovation): Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) from a consultative perspective. Anticipate market shifts and client needs, taking a proactive view of "what’s next, how can we scale this business, and what risks must we mitigate before they arise." * Thought Leadership: Drive industry insights and internal innovation through strategic partnerships (e.g., Google, Meta, Salesforce, QM), establishing an external voice for both the agency and the client. 2. Commercial & Growth Driving * Commercial Strategy & Framing: Partner directly with the Managing Director and Project Director to define the strategic and financial premises governing commercial proposals, staffing models, and client scopes. * New Business & Narrative Pitching: Lead high-complexity pitches and renewals in partnership with the Growth team. Own the strategic narrative, define the commercial framework, and align internal capabilities to win new business. * Portfolio Growth: Oversee the growth plans for a portfolio of accounts or high-complexity international clients, ensuring set financial and strategic targets are met throughout the year. 3. Relationship & Team Direction * C-Suite Advisory: Build, maintain, and expand relationships with senior client stakeholders (CMOs, CCOs, Business Leads), opening new doors by acting as a peer to their business challenges. * Cross-Functional Steering: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams (Creative, Media, Data, Tech) to deliver flawless execution based on your strategic direction. * Mentorship & Delegation: Empower Account Directors and Client Management teams to deliver the "Brilliant Basics" (day-to-day operations, billing, administration). Your role is to mentor junior team members while maintaining a high-level view of account health. Qualifications: * Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is required. * Minimum 8 years of experience working in an agency environment * Collaborative and confident approach to digital marketing projects. * Excellent interpersonal abilities with experience building long-term business relationships. * Knowledge of processes and production for integrated campaigns including Websites, Online Media, and Social. * Experience ensuring our retention of clientele and facilitating further growth with large accounts. * Experience in negotiation and meeting client requirements. * Experience with budgeting and progress reports. * Understanding of various communication research approaches.   Note: We emphasise skills, expertise and behavioural attributes over years of experience and traditional degrees.
