Commercial Construction Project Manager San Jose, CA | Onsite | $130K–$200K + Bonus We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join a growing Bay Area general contractor. This is a hands-on PM role with full ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout/customer move-in. Projects range from approximately $250K to $60M and include life science, commercial/industrial construction, tenant improvements, and seismic/structural work. What You’ll Do * Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout * Handle estimating, proposals, quantity takeoffs, job walks and subcontractor buyout * Manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals and project documentation * Own project schedules, monthly billings, invoices and financial tracking * Lead owner/contractor meetings and coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects and engineers * Identify project issues early and keep schedules, budgets and deliverables on track What We’re Looking For * 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or Assistant PM * Strong commercial construction / General Contractor background * Experience managing projects from start to finish * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong knowledge of scheduling, subcontractor management and construction documents * Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project and Excel * Knowledge of AIA documentation and Sage 100 Contractor is a plus * California driver’s license with a clean driving record * Commercial experience required, residential-only backgrounds will not be considered Compensation & Benefits * $130K–$200K base salary, depending on experience * Profitability-based bonus * Medical coverage * 401(k) with company contribution * 15 days PTO + paid holidays * Company vehicle * Laptop, iPad, cell phone and company credit card Location: San Jose, CA Schedule: 100% onsite with regular travel to local Bay Area project sites
