TRANSFORMING GLOBAL FINANCE WITH AI EMPOWERING THE WORLD’S LEADING FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS WITH UNMATCHED INSIGHT Rogo is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join its Legal team and help scale the company’s contracting function as it redefines financial workflows for top investment banks, private equity funds, and investment firms. This is a high-impact opportunity for a business-minded attorney to build the legal infrastructure that enables Rogo’s rapid growth and supports a global client base. The Commercial Counsel will advise stakeholders on legal issues, lead end-to-end negotiations of high-value MSAs and commercial agreements with major financial institutions, and own negotiations with data and content providers. The role partners closely with Sales, Product, Security, and Operations to structure business-aligned agreements and translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance. Responsibilities include implementing and managing Rogo’s commercial contracting infrastructure, operationalizing legal tech tools, and designing negotiation templates and workflows. The Commercial Counsel will also collaborate with the Head of Legal on strategic initiatives. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction and hold a JD from a top law school, with 3–6 years of legal experience—preferably with top-tier law firm training in technology transactions, IP, or emerging companies, and/or in-house experience at a high-growth SaaS, data, or AI company. Demonstrated experience independently closing commercial agreements, strong knowledge of IP licensing, privacy, data-use rights, and AI, and prior experience implementing legal tech tools are essential.
