We're changing the game for restaurateurs, whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant, all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.    Why this role is different This isn’t a typical HVAC job chasing random service calls. * Work on modern, standardized commercial kitchen facilities * Predictable environments → faster diagnostics, less guesswork * Mix of hands-on repair + system troubleshooting + facility support * Opportunity to grow into Facilities or Regional leadership roles * Be part of a rapidly growing operation in a $100B+ industry * Independent problem-solving with access to a collaborative support network (engineering, senior techs) for complex escalations   What you’ll do HVAC/R & Facilities Maintenance * Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems (WIC/R, RTUs, exhaust fans, hoods, make-up air units, DOAS systems) * Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sites * Support refrigeration and kitchen ventilation systems Facility Operations Support * Travel between multiple sites (number of sites vary by region) throughout the week across the Greater Los Angeles Area * Conduct site inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently * Handle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance as needed * Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and warranty work System Performance & Troubleshooting * Use Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and diagnose issues * Provide remote troubleshooting support to onsite teams and vendors * Review reports (startup, testing, balancing) to verify system performance New Site Support * Assist with new facility openings by verifying installation and system functionality * Identify issues early and coordinate corrective actions What your week looks like * 70% hands-on HVAC/R maintenance & repair * 20% troubleshooting & diagnostics (onsite + remote) * 10% inspections, reporting, and system verification   What we’re looking for Required * 5+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience * Experience working with rooftop units, ventilation systems, or refrigeration(Walk-Ins) * Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills * Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites locally Preferred * HVAC Universal certification (EPA, trade school, or equivalent) * Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site facilities * Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems Work Environment & Schedule * Field-based role across the Greater Los Angeles Area * Local travel between sites (home daily) * Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation and overtime opportunities   Why join us  * Demand for online food delivery is growing really fast!
