Acting as a liaison, the specialist ensures that applications meet Freddie Mac and Berkadia guidelines and prepares Berkadia Commitments and rate locks. Additionally, the Loan Closing Specialist coordinates with the Closers to monitor and resolve closing and pre-closing issues across various platforms, including client relations, legal, underwriting, and servicing. We Innovate to shape the future of CRE, so in this role you will: Responsibilities: * Review application and rate lock documentation.  * Prepare the Berkadia Index Lock Agreement and Berkadia Commitment; ensure all rate lock items are received prior to rate lock.  * Rate lock all Freddie loans; ensure rate lock is perfected and distribute information to all relevant parties, including Mortgage Banker, Counsel, Underwriter, and Closer.  * Coordinate with Closers on the commitment, closing, and delivery phases of loans to ensure commitment requirements are met within specified timeframes for optimal execution.  * Record loan and closing information in OmniView, the company’s system of record.  * Track post-closing documents and coordinating with external counsel and servicing to upload these documents promptly.  * Reconcile good faith accounts and perform various other accounting functions related to closing.  * Perform administrative duties as assigned to support the goals of the company’s Closing function.  * Other duties as assigned.  Work Location: Work Location can be Remote; Mountain or Pacific Time highly preferred.  We Stand for Excellence, so to achieve success in this role you should have: Preferred Qualifications: * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.  * Proficiency in using loan management systems and software, such as OmniView.  * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.  * Bachelor's degree or equivalent   * 3+ years of experience in a similar position   We believe People Matter, so we offer benefits that go beyond: * Monthly paid volunteer hours and donation matching to benefit our communities  * Employee Resource Groups that help you grow with us * Fertility and family planning services   * Up to 12-weeks of fully paid parental leave    * Mental health care, including free counseling sessions:   * We'll help you fund your learning journey with generous tuition reimbursement  * Pet insurance discounts  * And more!  Be the Next Big Thing.
