Please note that this is an internship role where full training will be provided to put the successful candidate in a position to fulfil the Duties and Responsibilities listed. The remuneration will be aligned to the role of an intern for the first 3 months. Duties and Responsibilities • Design and build solutions that enable the administration of Insurance and Investment products using the FIS PAS application formerly known as Compass. • Understand user product requirements and build compass system solutions that enable the requirements in an efficient manner. • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management. • Facilitate/participate in design sessions. • Training of users and troubleshooting any issues that arise. • Investigate system problems and correct them. • Create functional and technical specifications. • Provide technical support to business users. • Review test plans and the test book for each project release before User Acceptance Testing. • Conduct systems testing to ensure that the design is aligned and designed according to the technology business requirement specifications. • Provide support for system testing. • Document solution designs and communicate the designs effectively to users and other developers/Compass specialists.
