Why Join Apex? * Competitive hourly wages based on experience * Consistent overtime opportunities * FIFO and rotational schedule options * Long-term projects across Western Canada * Comprehensive health and dental benefits * RRSP matching program * Paid training and professional development * Career advancement opportunities as we continue to grow * Modern Trimble surveying technology and equipment * A collaborative, safety-focused team culture What You'll Do * Perform high-precision construction layout and as-built surveys * Operate Trimble Robotic Total Stations, GNSS, and related survey technology * Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate project layout * Verify survey data through established QA/QC procedures * Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, clients, and other trades * Prepare clear field notes, reports, and survey documentation * Maintain Apex's commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism on every project What You'll Bring * Minimum 3 years of industrial construction surveying experience * Experience with Trimble survey equipment and software is considered a strong asset * High-precision surveying capabilities with Robotic Total Station * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and construction plans * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Commitment to safety and quality workmanship * Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract * Diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience is considered an asset About Apex Geomatics Apex Geomatics is a 100% Indigenous-owned civil engineering field services company providing surveying, geospatial, geotechnical engineering, and materials testing services across Canada.
