About the Role Dandy is hiring an experienced Controls Technician to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. In this role, you’ll oversee the maintenance and functionality of automation equipment controls and other controls systems as needed. This is an opportunity to work with custom, cutting-edge automation technology in a manufacturing environment. What You'll Do * Work with automation engineers to create and implement programs and processes to optimize equipment efficiency * Manage and perform equipment calibration, repairs, preventive maintenance, and testing * Perform basic programming and installation of new and existing software required for equipment operations * Work within the SCADA system, look for opportunities for continuous improvement What We're Looking For * 1+ yrs of experience as a controls technician/engineer * Hiring for 12 hr. shifts: Night shift (6pm-6am Sunday-Tues Rotating Shift) and Day Shift (6 am - 6pm Wed - Sat Rotating Shift) * Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software systems. Proficiency with hand and precision tools and computer usage. * Ability to clearly communicate about technical concepts. Comfortable working in a fast pace, rapidly changing environment. * Understanding of basic safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures * Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work within a confined space, climb ladders, and perform other physical tasks for multiple hours/day * Ability to work occasional overtime/weekends as needed to support production goals and equipment shutdowns * A self-driven individual with a desire and ability to work under minimal supervision * A curious mind with a need to “get to the bottom” of issues and improvement opportunities * Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language Bonus Points For * Experience with Siemens controls * Bachelor’s degree in engineering * Manufacturing experience, preferably in a maintenance or controls role Req ID: J-1172 For full-time positions, Dandy offers a wide range of best-in-class, comprehensive, and inclusive benefits tailored to each country where we operate.
