Must have organizational skills, ability to follow instructions, attention to detail, and ability to function very well under pressure.  We are a high volume kitchen so excellent teamwork is a must. Position: Cook Salary: $15.50 + tips Per Hour Job Type: Full-time, Part-time Roles and Responsibilities: * Prepare a variety of Latin inspired dishes according to established recipes and standards * Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety and quality of our food * Assist in the preparation of ingredients * Ensure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and presented in an attractive and appetizing manner * Collaborate with other members of the kitchen team to ensure that orders are completed quickly and efficiently * Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, as well as the work area, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment * Assist in the development of specials, as well as the creation of prep lists and par levels * Continuously seek out ways to improve our dishes, processes, and customer experience Qualifications: * A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary industry * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines * Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety and sanitation standards * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed We offer competitive pay, a supportive work environment, and ample opportunities for growth and advancement.
