Cardless partners with leading names such as Coinbase, Bilt Rewards, and Alibaba, and operates across all major card networks using advanced AI-powered servicing. The Corporate Counsel will serve as a cross-functional legal partner, advising on servicing, collections, and litigation matters, while supporting additional legal needs as the business evolves. This high-ownership position is ideal for a structured, detail-oriented attorney with significant experience in consumer finance, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with servicing and collections regulations, managing escalations and litigation, advising on third-party agreements, and optimizing consumer-facing communications. The role also involves leveraging AI and automation to streamline legal workflows and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate holds a J.D. from an accredited law school, is an active member of the bar (New York or California preferred), and brings 8+ years of legal experience, including time at a top-tier law firm and in-house at a technology or fintech company.
