Roshal Health is a national company with clients and clinical employees spanning all 50 states, offering both local and travel opportunities.   Top 5 Reasons our employees love working here: * Work that fits into your life — not the other way around: Reclaim your schedule for what matters most * Security: W2 Employment with PTO & Full Benefits - benefits are available to all full-time & most part-time employees * Daily Variety: Enjoy conducting a wide range of scans, primarily in an ER environment (Both hospital and free-standing) * Professional Development: Additional Training Programs and a clear path to career growth * Culture: We’ve built a culture where people are trusted to work independently, supported to succeed, and encouraged to enjoy meaningful work together.   CT Technologist Requirements: * Minimum 1 year of experience post-graduation * Current ARRT registration – RT (R)(CT), and state licensure where required * Valid Driver’s License * BLS/CPR Certification * Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently * Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check * Comfort level with CT examinations and procedures requiring contrast agents, as well as portable and general X-ray. * Ability to use mobile phone devices & applications   Other Requirements: * Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology to sufficiently pinpoint area of imaging. * Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. * Must be able to act calmly and effectively in busy, stressful or emergency situations. * Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing. * Requires adherence to all policies and procedures, including standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.   Skills: * Ability to operate CT and X-ray equipment. * Ability to maintain quality control standards. * Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision. * Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff at client facilities, management and peers. * Maintain the mental acuity, situational awareness, and decision-making ability necessary to safely and effectively perform all essential duties of the CT Technologist position, including patient assessment, image acquisition, prioritization, and communication with the care team. * Demonstrate the physical capability to safely lift and move 30 pounds independently and to assist with patient positioning, transfer, and mobility activities as required to perform CT and X-ray examinations safely and effectively. (see physical requirements) * Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage interactions with people in difficult, stressful situations. * Excellent communication skills.   Physical Requirements: * Prolonged standing and walking while performing examinations and moving between patient rooms and departments. * Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and repositioning patients. * Occasional squatting, kneeling, and working in confined or awkward spaces. * Lifting and carrying equipment, supplies, and imaging accessories. * Pushing and pulling portable X-ray machines, beds, stretchers, wheelchairs, and other medical equipment. * Assisting with patient transfers to and from the imaging table, positioning, and movement of extremities, including patients with limited mobility. * Frequent use of hands, wrists, fingers, arms, and shoulders for patient positioning, contrast setup, fine-motor tasks, and equipment controls. * Wearing lead protective apparel for extended periods during X-ray procedures. * Continuous visual concentration and hand-eye coordination while operating equipment, monitoring images, and observing patients during contrast administration. * Physical endurance to perform multiple examinations throughout the workday. * Ability to safely maneuver around patients, hospital beds, equipment, and other obstacles.   Responsibilities: * Perform CT examinations and procedures, including those that require the use of contrast agents, in accordance with accepted protocols. * Manage patients during complex procedures and exams. * Operate portable X-ray machines and other X-ray equipment. * Troubleshoot minor X-ray and CT equipment problems. * Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly and professionally to all work-related calls received. * For on-call assignments, contact the assigned facility with estimated arrival time and arrive at the facility within prescribed timeframe. * Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment. * Maintain work areas in compliance with client’s standards. * Maintain accurate records, reports and files, as directed. * Document work processes, as required. * Perform other duties, as assigned.   Benefits: * Comprehensive Medical Insurance including: 24/7 Virtual Care (telemedicine), Vital Medication Program, Text Care, HSA & FSA, EAP * Dental & Vision Benefits * PTO * 401(k) retirement plan * Mileage Reimbursement * Emphasis on work/life balance * Opportunity for career growth & advancement   Roshal Imaging Services LLC is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
