About the Role We are seeking an all-round Data Governance Consultant to support our clients in building and maturing their data governance capabilities. This role is broad in scope — you will work across strategy, operating model design, policy development, and stakeholder engagement, helping organisations embed a culture of data ownership and accountability. What You’ll Do * Lead and support data governance strategy engagements across industries. * Design and implement data governance operating models, including roles, responsibilities, and decision-making structures. * Develop data policies, standards, and procedures tailored to client needs. * Facilitate working sessions with data owners, stewards, and executive sponsors. * Assess current-state DG maturity and define target-state roadmaps. * Support clients in selecting and deploying governance tooling (e.g. Collibra, Alation, Ataccama). * Produce high-quality governance artefacts and client-facing deliverables. What You’ll Need * Broad data governance experience spanning strategy, policy, and operating model design. * Familiarity with data governance frameworks including DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, or equivalent. * Track record of delivering DG programmes in complex enterprise environments. * Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences. * Experience working with data governance tooling (Collibra, Alation, Ataccama, or similar). * Consultancy or advisory background preferred. * Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce board-level documentation.
