Institutional investors already use G2 data to source, diligence, and track software investments. This team was created in 2022 to sell one of our most strategic and complex solutions, Data Solutions. We are hiring a Director, Data Solutions to own this business end to end: revenue, clients, team, and product direction. It is a player-coach role for a commercially driven leader who wants to build, not inherit. Investor demand for trusted software market signal is accelerating * You get ground-floor ownership of a high-growth data business inside a profitable category leader, working directly with G2's executive team WHAT YOU WILL OWN * Revenue: own the number. Source and close strategic opportunities across hedge funds, asset managers, private equity, venture capital, and family offices. Build a predictable pipeline with disciplined pricing, packaging, and forecasting * Clients: be the trusted advisor to senior investment professionals and data strategists. Serve as executive sponsor for strategic accounts and drive adoption, retention, and expansion * Team: lead and coach a sales and account support team, modeling prospecting through close, and evolve the org as the business scales * Product: translate investor workflows and market feedback into a clear roadmap with our product, data, and engineering teams MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: We realize applying for jobs can feel daunting at times.
