DIRECTOR OF NURSING (DON) Location: ROLE SUMMARY: The Director of Nursing (DON) oversees all nursing services and clinical operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care within a fast-paced Gastroenterology (GI) and Endoscopy center. This full-time, exempt leadership role provides clinical oversight for endoscopy services, leads a dedicated nursing team, and ensures excellence in patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance. HOURS: Full-time, Monday–Friday WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Lead, mentor, and manage nursing and clinical teams within the GI/Endoscopy setting. * Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring safe and efficient patient care throughout the endoscopy process. * Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection prevention, and quality outcomes. * Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies. * Oversee staffing, scheduling, competencies, and supply management. * Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesia providers, and administrative leadership to support center goals. * Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience, clinical efficiency, and operational performance. * Serve as the clinical leader and resource for staff, providers, and patients. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: * Active RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications. * Bachelor’s degree preferred. * 2+ years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center, GI lab, or endoscopy setting. * Strong knowledge of endoscopy workflows, sedation practices, infection prevention, and regulatory standards. * Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
