We’re looking for a Director of TikTok Shop - Brand Management to lead our overarching TikTok Shop marketplace strategy, oversee an expanding organization of Associate Directors and Account Managers, and drive revenue growth for our client portfolio within the Pattern Creators team. Creators is a software-as-a-service product within Pattern's ecommerce acceleration platform that offers a seamless solution for brands looking to build their ambassador programs, maximize influencer marketing, and maximize social commerce revenue. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Lehi, Utah. WHAT IS A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECTOR OF TIKTOK SHOP - BRAND MANAGEMENT? Organizational Leadership: Directly manage, mentor, and build Associate Directors of TikTok Shop while maintaining indirect leadership over their teams of Account Managers. Set operational standards, refine performance metrics, and oversee talent development. Strategic Partnership & Strategy: Collaborate closely with the Head of Accounts for TikTok Shop and the VP of Social Commerce to align top-level commercial targets, team structures, and market-expansion initiatives. Executive Brand Ownership: Lead executive-level client strategy and maintain primary escalation ownership for high-value enterprise brands, translating complex marketplace insights into long-term growth playbooks. P&L & Portfolio Growth: Take accountability for total portfolio GMV, retention, and revenue expansion across all accounts within your pod, ensuring team members consistently exceed brand KPIs. Cross-Functional & Product Influence: Partner with Product, Engineering, Creator Operations, and Marketing leadership to influence the Pattern Creators software roadmap based on enterprise client feedback and social commerce trends. Market Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of algorithm changes, TikTok Shop feature releases, and live shopping ecosystems to keep Pattern at the cutting edge of social commerce innovation. WHAT WILL I NEED TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE? 8-10+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, digital strategy, or agency environments, with a proven history of scaling multi-tiered teams (managing managers). Deep operational expertise in TikTok Shop, social commerce ecosystems, affiliate networks, and creator-led commerce models. Experience managing high-value client portfolios and interfacing directly with C-suite and VP-level brand stakeholders. Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience driving portfolio-level P&L growth, staffing retention models, and client expansion strategies. Executive-level communication and leadership skills with a track record of building collaborative, data-driven team cultures. Master of Business Administration (MBA) required. WHAT DOES HIGH PERFORMANCE LOOK LIKE? Drive sustainable top-line GMV and revenue expansion across your division's entire book of business while maintaining high client retention rates. Build a resilient, high-performing leadership pipeline by successfully mentoring and developing your Associate Directors. Pioneer enterprise-grade TikTok Shop growth playbooks that reinforce Pattern Creators as the industry-leading social commerce solution. WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE IN THE FIRST 30, 60, 90 DAYS? First 30 Days: Establish strong cross-functional alignment with the VP of Social Commerce and the Head of Accounts for TikTok Shop. Complete 1:1s with your direct reports (Associate Directors), evaluate team structures and capacity, and review high-priority enterprise brand strategies across your pod. First 60 Days: Partner with your Associate Directors to optimize account management frameworks, streamline client delivery protocols, and identify immediate growth levers across key enterprise portfolios. Establish direct executive touchpoints with flagship brand partners. First 90 Days: Take full strategic ownership of your division's revenue performance and team health. Deliver a comprehensive multi-quarter strategy for scaling Pattern's TikTok Shop operations, team bandwidth, and client performance benchmarks to senior leadership. WHAT IS THE TEAM LIKE? You will report directly to the VP of Social Commerce, work closely alongside other Directors, and manage a team of Associate Directors. Your team collaborates regularly with Marketplace Operations Specialists, Creator Alignment Managers, and Product teams.
