It makes a difference!  What you will do: * Coordinate backend engineering teams responsible for platforms that serve multiple countries, ensuring scalable, reliable and high-quality deliveries; * Drive execution and delivery across pods (squads), ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines; * Act as a facilitator for agile ceremonies, removing impediments and improving team flow and predictability; * Partner closely with Product, Architecture and other engineering teams to define and evolve solutions; * Support developers' career growth through regular feedback, performance evaluations and development plans. * Promote engineering excellence, ensuring adoption of best practices in software design, observability, and reliability; * Hands-on with monitoring, code review, configuration tasks and deploy. * Support and guide the team on technical decisions when needed, being a strong partner for senior engineers; * Ensure systems are designed for scale, resiliency and performance in a distributed microservices environment; * Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement and DevOps mindset;   We are looking for people with:   * University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related fields; * Previous experience leading backend engineering teams; * Strong experience with Java ecosystem and backend development; * Experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices architectures; * Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes); * Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic or similar); * Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, system integration and event-driven architectures; * Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns and best practices; * Experience with testing strategies (unit, integration, automation, performance); * Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken); * Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
