WHAT IS ON OFFER Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Advisor to join our team here in Liverpool, UK.  Under the guidance of the Group H&S Manager, the Environmental Advisor will focus primarily on upholding the ISO 14001 certification for AHK North West Laboratories, with assistance from the existing H&S Team. Additionally, this position will contribute to the Company's Project Quartz initiative, which aims to develop and implement Group Environmental Procedures across Alfred H Knight's global operations. To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE  Essential  * Ability to identify and engage stakeholders. *  Ability to influence positive change where required.  * Must be capable of adaptive problem solving and potential conflict resolution issues to ensure compliance.   * Understanding of UK Environmental legislation a requirement. Required Work Experience * 5+ years in a HSE role, preferably within a similar industry. * Responsibility for managing an EMS in a previous role. * If internal, must show a broad understanding of Environmental risk assessment, Aspects & Impacts etc. Qualifications * Lead Auditor certification for ISO standards would be an advantage. * IOSH membership is standard, also EMA or equivalent qualification would be desirable but not essential. * NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Environmental-specific qualification.  Travel  * The role may involve prospective travel as it progresses.
