About the role We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our passionate and vibrant technical team at Buildsafe. Reporting into the Estimating Team Leader, you will work alongside a team of experts to prepare cost estimates in a timely manner. Other Key functions of the role: * Develop and provide accurate quotes, identifying the labour, material and time required for each job; * Assist in Purchase Order entry, ensuring correct allowances and rates are applied; * Use computer software to measure specific safety products and scaffolding; * Provide expert advice to builders, carpenters and other clientele to determine their safety needs; * Generate and prepare reports when required. About you To join our dynamic team, you will need to be a forward-thinking individual with a strong work ethic and can demonstrate the below:  * Thorough understanding of residential construction plans * Proven communication skills, both written and verbal * Have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision * Consistently be able to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks * Have an eye for detail * Intermediate computer skills – Microsoft Suite & CRM  * A trade or estimating qualification/experience * Previous experience in scaffolding/safety solutions costing (advantageous but not essential)
