This role conducts space surveys, plans and develops interior spaces considering function, user needs, building codes, durability, life cycle costs, energy use, aesthetics, and budget, and advises staff on interior design factors including space planning, layout, furnishings, materials, and color selection. The role reviews schematic design, design development, and construction drawings for compliance with specifications, coordinates relocation projects with on-site move management staff, and develops working knowledge of NCI OSFM's Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system, VisionFM. A minimum of an Associate's degree in Interior Design or a related discipline and at least six years of related experience are required, along with strong communication skills and excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
