Arc is on a mission to electrify the marine industry. We're rethinking powertrains, software, and vessel designs from first principles. And we're already executing. Now we’re extending our platform to commercial applications, starting with tugs, ferries, and defense, with years worth of signed contracts and a pipeline that spans every vessel type on the water. The marine industry is going electric and Arc is building the platform that powers it   WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR We're looking for someone fired up by the mission and ready to build. You'll thrive here if you move fast, take ownership, and care about the details.  This is a full-time, on-site role at our Los Angeles headquarters. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Performing preventative maintenance and facility PMs/inspections on building systems * Troubleshooting basic electrical and plumbing issues * Making repairs to facility and building systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, doors, hardware, furniture, fixtures) * Continuously refreshing office workspaces and handling general handyman tasks (drywall, paint, furniture build) * Managing facilities tickets * Managing fleet vehicles * Maintaining high standards of safety and quality, including safety-related facility repairs MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * 1+ years of facilities, building maintenance, or related trade experience * Able to work independently with minimal supervision and a proactive mindset * Proficiency using mechanical and basic electrical hand tools * Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and general building systems * Basic computer and email proficiency * Ability to stand 6-10 hours per day and lift up to 50lbs * Ability to climb ladders and work in tight or elevated spaces * Strong communication skills for interfacing with employees, vendors, and stakeholders * Valid driver's license (for fleet management duties) BONUS QUALIFICATIONS * Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting * Forklift and scissor lift experience * Familiar with using Asana or a ticketing system to prioritize and track tickets * Experience with the operation of fabrication equipment (mills, lathes, routers, CNC) * Comfortable pushing a fast but sustainable pace * Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy At Arc, we encourage diversity and consider all qualified applicants equally for employment, regardless of background, identity, or status. WHAT WE OFFER The base pay for this role is S1: $25.50 S2: $29.50 hourly.  Highly competitive equity grants are included with full time offers.
