Alive Church is looking for a detail-driven Finance Coordinator to help keep our financial operations accurate, timely, and organized across all of our campuses. This full-time role is based at our Central campus in Orlando and reports to the Executive Director of Finance & Business Development. The Finance Coordinator helps Alive Church honor the trust behind every gift. This is a great fit for someone who loves details, takes pride in getting the numbers right, and sees faithful stewardship as ministry. Key Responsibilities * Process contractor invoices, issue checks, and manage recurring monthly payments * Reconcile weekly deposits and support volunteer teams across every campus * Support month-end close by tracking employee expense coding, running financial reports, and flagging budget overages * Complete the monthly cash flow analysis * Coordinate large, centralized purchases and handle church credit card administration * Support giving campaigns, annual contribution statements, and financial metrics for church-wide events and reports * Help the finance team and other departments during busy seasons, events, and special projects Qualifications * A growing, personal relationship with Jesus and alignment with the beliefs and values of Alive Church * Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through * Strong professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality with financial and giving information * Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets * Clear, friendly communication, including the ability to kindly hold staff to deadlines * A self-starter who manages recurring deadlines well without needing close supervision Preferred * 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or a related finance role * Experience with accounting and expense management software * Experience with bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and month-end processes * Church or nonprofit finance experience As a staff member of Alive Church, the successful candidate must understand, support, and protect the mission, values, culture, and biblical foundation of Alive Church.
