ROLE SCOPE * Engineer fire protection in the reference design: detection, suppression, and alarm systems for modular units and BTM plants. * Run the calcs and layouts: hydraulics, coverage, and device placement owned end to end. * Develop the details that repeat: standardized designs fabricated into modules instead of field-built. * Support permitting and commissioning: AHJ questions answered, acceptance tests passed. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would. * You've designed fire protection systems for industrial or mission-critical facilities. * You run your own hydraulic calcs and stand behind them. * You've taken designs through plan review and acceptance testing. * You know NFPA 13 and 72 well and look up the rest fast. * You design for fabrication, not just for the code minimum. * Bonus: Clean agent and water mist systems.
