A DAY IN THE LIFE: Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, you’ll harness your exceptional organizational and leadership skills and leverage your expertise to play a pivotal role in driving projects forward! Your role as Mechanical Foreman will include: * Leading and mentoring a crew of 10+ Journeymen and Apprentice Plumbers, organizing and maintaining scheduled installations of building mechanical systems. * Overseeing the installation of all materials, equipment, and systems proficiently to deliver projects on time and on budget. * Performing quality control inspections to exceed client expectations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. * Planning and coordinating sub-trades, identifying efficiencies and cost-savings to maximize project success. * Supervising workers and projects, arranging training sessions, and coordinating manpower scheduling with the developer/general contractor. * Accurately completing and submitting all necessary paperwork, such as HSE reporting, 3-week lookaheads, and QA/QC. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: * 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Foreman or in a Lead Hand role on residential multi-unit or commercial sites. * Hydronic experience in heating, cooling, mechanical rooms, grooved, victaulic and cast iron experience. (considered and asset). * Red Seal Plumber Certification. * Positive and driven leader with experience managing small teams and projects. * Proficiency in plumbing installations, plumbing code, and mechanical systems. * Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications. * Strong understanding and exposure to industry safe work practices (safety is a priority for us!). * Outstanding time and project management skills to complete work on time and within budget, along with a self-motivated attitude to maintain productivity without supervision. * Reliable and dependable team player that shows up on time. * Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and technology. * You bring solutions to any roadblock that comes up on the job.
